We are seeking an experienced Converting Utilities Reliability Engineer for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Lock Haven, PA. This position will focus on increasing reliability and uptime for seven converting lines, two gas fired steam boilers, raw water treatment, waste water treatment, and mill air supply.

Primary responsibilities include:
* Root Cause Analysis – documenting failures, analyzing repetitive failures, analyzing major failures, training maintenance and production personnel
* Preventive maintenance programs – Develop tools and techniques to analyze and develop cost effective preventive maintenance procedures.
* New equipment installations – providing assistance in developing standards based installation procedures for new equipment using best available practices.
* Reliability improvements – identify, plan and implement projects to improve the inherent reliability of plant equipment.
* Effective maintenance planning and scheduling – participating in daily line meetings and weekly planning and scheduling meetings, providing vibration and lubrication analysis reports to aid in setting shutdown schedules.
* Effective repair techniques – developing and implementing standards based repair procedures, documenting repairs, developing and implementing vendor standards.
* Equipment Modifications – identify and implement modifications that reduce the time required to repair/replace equipment.
* Procedure Modifications – identify and modify procedures that reduce the time required to repair/replace equipment.
* Leads equipment performance review meetings to assure actions are identified and executed addressing equipment performance gaps
* Lubrication – review analysis reports, audit procedures, gap analysis and implementation of continuous improvements.
* Vibration - – review analysis reports, audit procedures, gap analysis and implementation of continuous improvements
* Equipment criticality assessment and implementation

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
* BS in Engineering / related field and or 10 years manufacturing experience
* Engineering/technical background in a heavy manufacturing setting
* 5 years’ experience in the reliability field
* Proficient in MS Office products
* Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple projects
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong problem solving and negotiating skills
* Project experience that includes small to medium capital and/or major reliability projects.
