This position is for a systems software engineering position supporting a Data Fusion development and integration program in PEO(T). Candidate will provide engineering and technical expertise for the program as it enters its Engineering and Manufacturing Development (E&MD) Phase. The candidate will evaluate system architectures, interfaces and demonstrated technologies, support the development of requirements for inclusion in Weapons System Specifications, provide analytical services required to support the program through requirements analysis, system design and development, performance testing, and implementation. Tasking will also include developing program review briefs for leadership, identifying and providing recommendations to resolve technical risks and issues, and participating in engineering working groups and program reviews. The candidate will also assist in monitoring industry development efforts, and participate in all major Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events for the program. 

Education/Experience:  A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited college or university with twelve (12) years of professional experience is required. A minimum of eight (8) years of engineering experience in the analysis, design, development, integration operation, testing and evaluation of aircraft or weapons systems is required.   Experience in the application of Data Fusion concepts in tactical weapons systems is highly desired. Experience with Navy tactical command and control operations is highly desired. Experience supporting major weapon system development and acquisition is desired.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Knowledge of DoD systems engineering requirements, design requirements and specification development is required. Candidate must be able to collaborate with and work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams within both government and industry. Candidate must be able to organize, demonstrate effective oral and written communications, and operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and similar computer–based productivity applications.

An active TS clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 6 years is required.
