Question: How do instructors obtain a copy of the student version of CATIA V5? Would the instructor copy license be limited in time as the student version is?
Answer: Instructors are eligible to purchase a student version at www.catiastudent.com. These licenses expire within one year.
2. Question: Will the student version release cycle be synchronized with the commercial version?
Answer: The Catia Student Version is released shortly after each release of the Commercial version.
3. Question: Will there be additional tools added to the student version to allow students to complete more complex assignments?  In other words, will P1 always be the basis for the student version?
Answer: P1 will be the basis for the student version until such time as Dassault is able to watermark models created with the student version. This is a “hoped for”, but not committed feature for R18.
