Abstract: Boeing is deploying the "Lean Enterprise" business model to answer the customer's need for more value in the 7E7 Dreamliner airplane. This lean model includes ensuring they get the best value components and technology, world-class capability and a global presence to design, build, certify, and support the airplane. This presentation will share some of the winning strategies Boeing is using to work with their partners and suppliers to design, manage, and integrate the physical, functional, and build integration aspects of the airplane using V5's lifecycle management capabilities in a concurrent environment.
