World's Smallest Ultrasound Package
It is the world's smallest and first true pocket-ultrasound system. Slightly larger than a personal digital assistant, and weighing only 1.6 pounds, the ACUSON P10 fits into a lab coat pocket and because of its size, can be used by physicians in places like the Intensive Care Unit, ambulances and MEDEVAC (medical evacuation) helicopters. Instead of having to rush the patient to the technology, doctors say the P10 system brings the technology to the patient.
