Summary

Alibre is a low cost 3D system that provides the core design features needed for part and assembly design.  Founded in 1997 Alibre is a relatively late entry to the 3D CAD space, but that certainly doesn’t limit the value proposition.  With a list price of less than $2000 for the high-end package Alibre Design packs a punch.  With full associative 2D drafting design changes are fast and easy.  However, if you are looking for advanced manufacturing and analysis features you will need to look at other software to perform those functions.  Alibre provide a full range of standard export capabilities to move your design data to other systems.
