Purchased by Dassault in 1997 Solidworks is a leader in mid-range 3D Mechanical CAD.  When shopping for a CAD system Solidworks is one that should be included on every list.  Built and designed with the end user in mind Solidworks is easily implemented in small to large businesses and provides a wide range of powerful features.  Combined with a large distribution channel and a wide-range of 3rd party applications Solidworks provides a great core tool for any organization.
