Summary

V5 is Dassault’s high-end CAD package that is the replacement product for V4 based on a new advanced architecture.   A multitude of configuration options create one of the most diverse packages available on the market.  From advanced surfacing, through to analysis and manufacturing CATIA V5 provides fully integrated abilities for any organization.  Although extremely powerful a very simple interface and extensive video help and training make these advanced features seem simple to use.  Although these capabilities come with a price CATIA does not disappoint. 

 

Heavily used in the Automotive and Aerospace industries CATIA’s advanced surfacing capabiities for the designer are used to designed the majority of planes and cars on the road today.
