Ohio-based company seeks a high-energy Engineering Manager to develop world-class best practices that drive customer satisfaction and create significant competitive advantage. The Engineering Manager will organize and lead an effective, high performing team focused not only on solving problems, but improving the way problems are solved. The successful candidate will be a proactive, forward-thinker willing to challenge the status quo and drive change. Must be a strong communicator and a good “networker” with proven ability to develop internal and external relationships.
Minimum Education and Experience:
• BS in Engineering
• At least 5 years experience in R&D Engineering or Mechanical Design Engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Engineering supervisory experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• AutoCAD design experience
• Understanding of Bills of Materials
• Required to act as technical authority in area of expertise on assigned projects.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Air filtration and pneumatic conveying experience
• Finite element analysis
• Electrical controls design experience
