Job Title: RF Design Engineer
Location: Greenville/West Union, South Carolina Area (RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE)
Position Type: Permanent full-time
Salary: 65k - 90k
Job Description: Our client is looking for a RF Design Engineer whose primary responsibilities are to assist in the design and testing of high-volume, low-cost RF communication circuits that operate in the unlicensed 900MHz frequency band. People who like challenges and are motivated to drive this wireless communications technology in a cooperative team environment are encouraged to apply.
Major Responsibilities/Duties:
Involved in RF circuit design from concept to production for low cost wireless communications product-line, including RF filters and matching, synthesizers, VCO's, power amplifiers and integrated circuit transceivers
Conduct RF circuit measurements using laboratory spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.
Create models using RF simulation tools
Participate in field studies and system test activities
Perform other related duties as required
Education and Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Communications Engineering (or equivalent)
Must have a fundamental understanding of wireless communication principals and theories, 5 years product development experience is preferred unless exceptional fresh graduate
RF Military experience is a plus.
Familiarity with advanced modeling, simulation and networking analysis tools
Knowledge of FCC regulations for wireless communications
Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
5+ years experience in RF Design required
