Electronics manufacturing company specializing in sensor design and manufacture is seeking a solution-oriented engineer to join its team. Candidate should have background in either Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. Candidate must have capacity and desire to work on multiple aspects of sensor design and support; including electrical and electronics design, mechanical design, material selection, production engineering, various production support activities, failure analysis and troubleshooting of parts, etc. Position will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. Applicant should possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of working closely with the other members of the team. Candidate should be a "hands on" individual who desires to work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum 5 years experience.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing approach and methodology preferred. Candidate should have previous exposure working in ISO 9001 environment that includes requirements for documentation, standards, controls, etc. Candidate should also have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in AutoCad and OrCad circuit design software.
