Based out of Alberta Canada, Rotaflow Controls is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting company with a solid reputation for delivering top notch engineering services to clients. Since being established in 1994, Rotaflow has been involved in various Engineering projects around the world.
Type of Work Experience:
The successful candidate should have proven experience in design, project planning, installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, Specification and technical writing
Specific Skills:
Able to:
• Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
• Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
• Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
• Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
• Investigate electrical or electronic failures, Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
Additional Requirements:
Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Willing to travel
Specialization in lighting, power generation, transmission or distribution, and control systems a huge asset.
Experience and Qualifications:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or other related field
5+ Oil sands experience, Eligible for P.Eng application
Skills in LV, MV, MCC switchgear, power distribution, cable sizing. Project experience in emergency lighting, UPS, EHT, etc.
