We are a prestigious, locally owned Engineering firm seeking experienced MEP Engineers. We are looking for polished, energetic, flexible outgoing professionals with a “Can Do” attitude. Founded in 1990, our firm provides complete and detailed engineering services for Commercial, Industrial, Governmental, Institutional, Infrastructure, Health Care, Educational and Recreational Buildings.
Required Education and Certificates:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering - emphasis on Architectural Design
• MUST Be Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Perform M.E.P. analysis and design of Commercial, Industrial, Governmental and Institutional Buildings/Projects.
• Facilitate M.E.P. Design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases.
• Review plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards and guidelines.
• Seal Plans
• Communicate & Coordinate effectively and professionally with clients, project managers, internal staff, contractors and governmental agency staff
• Keep projects on track by maintaining project schedules and meeting project deadlines in an efficient and timely manner
• Attend project meetings and site visits to monitor progress of projects & ensure installations conform to design specs.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in technologies, products and services.
• Learn new disciplines and techniques
• Assist CEO with Proposals
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 Years of M.E.P. Design of Commercial, Industrial, Governmental and Institutional Buildings AS A M.E.P. PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER
REQUIRED Qualifications:
• Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Proficient in All Microsoft Office Applications
REQUESTED Qualifications (Would be a Plus):
• Mechanical Engineering associated with Water and Waste Water Pump and Piping Design
• Controls and Instrumentation Experience
• LEED Certified
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Team Player with Positive Attitude
• Polished/Professional Demeanor
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Multi-task oriented
• Works well under pressure
