XXXX Solar Inc. is the first company to offer solar heat for industrial processes at a price lower than heat produced by burning natural gas. XXXX Solar thermal energy systems integrate seamlessly with conventional gas-fired industrial equipment to provide hybrid systems offering clean reliable energy. XXXX Solar is initially targeting applications in drywall manufacturing, sludge drying and enhanced oil recovery. Position Role Responsible for system installation Accountabilities Complete responsibility for plant construction and installation from start to finish. Coordinate all personnel, parties, resources and materials. Meet specified milestones in installation cycle. Trouble shoots all critical slippage issues. Accountable at all times to CEO and client. Meet construction deadlines. Requirements/Qualities *BS Engineering/Mechanical, equivalent experience will be considered. *10 plus years experience required. *Flexible travel to site. *Proven track record managing large capital intensive projects in the power, oil and gas or chemical industries. *Total responsibility for construction of multi million dollar plant. *Ability to collaborate with and coordinate all manpower and resources for large plant, refinery or power station. *Track record in meeting plant installation deadlines. *Ability to foresee and address deadline scope slippage. *Prepare and maintain weekly documentation for CEO on installation. *Intelligence is highly valued. *Experience of solar thermal systems is desirable but not required. *Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a start up environment. *Must be proactive and possess the ability to independently carry out a variety of activities. *Exhibit strong teamwork abilities while maintaining a positive attitude. *Flexible, creative and eagerness to take existing system design to the next level.
