Security Architect – Marquette
Position Summary
Plans, develops, and directs the technology solutions related to security projects. Accountable for overall planning, directing and organizing of technical activities, including:
1. Development and management of Technical plans
2. Cost benefit analysis of prospective solutions, including analysis of TCO
3. Development of technical solution within guidelines of project budget, schedule as well as operational and architectural guidelines.
4. Assist in justifying solution to management - both technical governance and financial management
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer technology or related field.
CISSP or CISM security audit certification preferred. Minimum of 10 years computer security experience in a large organization required. Strong knowledge of technology related vulnerabilities, controls, and regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills supporting effective interaction with business area and functional leaders, end-users, technology professionals, and vendors. Ability to travel, as required.
Additional skills that would be beneficial include:
Experience with the following types of projects:
- Web filtering
- Network segmentation
- Information protection of PII
- Antivirus (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
- Vontu
- Firewalls rules
- Ediscovery
- NAP and NAC
- Client security and identify management
