The Product Development Manager will be responsible for the ** antenna product design team, which develops mobile phone and notebook antennas for ** global customers. The team currently has 30 engineers plus additional front-end design support teams in the USA, Europe and Taiwan
Main tasks
-Manages the activities of the assigned staff to ensure the on-time development of new antenna products and new antenna technology.
-Coach RF designers in RF design skills and product development processes.
-Participates in recruitment and selection of employees. Ensures that department is properly staffed.
-Leads staff to develop strategic and technically sound products. Utilizes Product Development and AQP processes through field release.
-Reviews and approves engineering project documentation and engineering analysis for consistency and accuracy.
-Interfaces with management and customers to resolve problems and issues that have reached critical level regarding design, quality, etc. Provides technical support to marketing, sales and outside customers.
Experience:
-Minimum of 10 years experience with mobile or notebook antenna RF development
-Familiar with the antenna industry, antenna players and technologies
-Previous supervisory experience
-Chinese language skills would be beneficial
-Fluent in English
