Lead the activities of the Engine Controls Development. Work with internal
and customer multi-disciplinary groups to identify, understand, allocate and
manage requirements for the engine controllers. Conceive, design, document
and support the implementation of complex system architectures.
Author plans & procedures, and support verification and validation of these
system requirements.
Support the validation engineer in defining the overall validation plan for
the system.
Provide risk analysis and risk mitigation plans.
Ensure engineering standard work is executed and completed prior to critical
reviews.
Successful candidates should have previous experience designing engine
control systems for complex equipment.
Proficient in use of common PC software packages and possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
Engine Simulation Design -`3 Simulink is the preferred tool
Control System Stability Analysis
Knowledge in DO178B to develop Software
Writing Test Scripts to test embedded Software
Experience with DOORS Power Generation and Distribution Systems
Some experience or interest in requirements engineering, engine control
algorithm development, experience with actual system hardware - electronics,
motors, actuators, etc, and some hands-on hardware testing experience is a
plus.
