This position is with a large manufacturer and will be responsible for engine hardware development. Duties include: ò Technical leader for powertrain engine development projects; ò Leading and mentoring engineers in gasoline engine and engine hardware development; ò Developing and specifying test procedures and equipment necessary to conduct performance and system development testing on engines; ò Directing a group of technicians and engineers to meet project goals; ò Leading root cause analysis at the end of test, finding and recommending solutions for specific failure modes (DFMEA); ò Recording and analyzing test data, researching alternatives, and implementing solutions to meet design objectives.
