Murata Machinery USA, Inc.Æs Textile Machinery Division currently has an opening for an Entry Level Technician in Charlotte, NC. Summary: Responsible for the installation and service of Muratec Textile Machinery. Become effective in communicating with customers to ensure customer requirements are met. Develop communication skills with customer and technical department to solve problems. Duties and Responsibilities: òInstall and maintain Muratec Textile machines òPerform precise settings on equipment òReview lab reports to fully evaluate yarn spun on the machine and report findings to top management or assigned management of the customer. òCommunicate with customers on proper maintenance and operation of the machines. òAdvise customers as well as technicians on problems concerning processing yarn. òOversee customerÆs personnel who work with installation/maintenance of Murata spinning systems. òWrite reports that fully explain the details of the work. òSubmit accurate expense and time records on a weekly basis. * Requires up to 80% travel within the southeast. Requirements: College degree preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components. Applicants with a combination of experience and education will be considered. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Travel is required about 80% of the time. EOE
