Summary As the Digital Technology Release Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for delivering stable development environments containing relevant changes for Digital Technology. Responsibilities Ownership of Pre-Production Release Environments. Understand the usage and configuration of Pre-Production environments. Coordinate test environment entry and exit with Release Management; manage commitments to deliver requests on time. Manage the delivery of new environments across operations, architecture, and engineering Lead technical environment owners who deliver change into test pipelines Plan and communicate environment deployment schedules and environment availability Develop and maintain online environment health scorecard Standardize environment change processes and enforce release pipeline process discipline Partner with engineering and technology teams to continuously improve environment management process Qualifications Understanding of environment management and software configuration management Comprehensive knowledge of Infrastructure technology, Environments, and Virtualization Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish/implement the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Proven ability to assess and mitigate impact/risk to the application footprint Aptitude for problem solving and showing good judgment Experience with Release Management; including the application deployment process Ability to work with outsourced onshore/offshore vendors Experience with JIRA preferred Bachelors degree in Technology, Business, Engineering or a related field 8+ years professional experience with at least 5 years in project management and business process improvement; additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with senior management Experience delivering digital or eCommerce technology projects, programs, or releases Experience enabling change in a high velocity environment Experience with Agile software development methodologies
