| We are a manufacturer of custom magnetic components, including transformers, inductors, chokes, current sensors, and filters. We are looking for a Magnetic Component Design Engineer with a background in electrical engineering and working experience in the field of magnetic component design.
Job Duties:
Perform all aspects of magnetic component design engineering from start to finish including but not limited to:
• Communicate with customers regarding custom design requirements
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain necessary material information and samples
• Build and test samples
• Generate specification drawings using ACAD and other computer software programs
• Documentation of all engineering work according to company guidelines
• Resolve product related problems on existing designs
• Mentor and coach junior engineers
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• 3 or more years of working experience with magnetic component design preferred
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once, multi-task, and prioritize
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of ACAD and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Must be flexible and enjoy working in a small office environment
