The Controls Engineer will perform technical planning and system integration of control systems for power generation and compression markets.
Key responsibilities include:
Establish project schedules and coordinating activities to meet established dates
Analysis of specifications, tables of action and transforming these requirements into an integrated hardware and software control system involving tracking costs, risks, and changes to the initial requirements of systems in development
Write validation procedures and performs tests and reports results effectively
Design of Human Machine Interface (HMI) using principles of systems engineering
Responsible for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) communication architecture
Evaluate and promote standards and design methods

Bachelors degree in Engineering and 3 years of experience in an Engineering role
Experience designing, testing, commissioning and verification of control systems in lab environment as well as in customer environment
Experience with Software design and Simulation tools
Experience with designing Human Machine Interfaces
Experience with aero-derivative or heavy frame gas turbine controls or equivalent
Experience leading team work done in-house or outsourced
Must be available to provide operational support for system start-ups
Ability to travel internationally
Previous experience in gas, oil or power generation markets
Gas turbine, rotating equipment and packaging experience
Engineering Procurement and Construction super system level experience
Experience with industrial gas turbine / packaging engineering
Experience working in a start up environment
Lean Sigma Green Belt or Robust Design Certification
