Design Group Staffing Inc. in collaboration with one of the global leaders in the EPCM service industry based in Calgary, AB is seeking Mechanical Engineers with experience with Packaged Units for a Full-Time Contract opportunity.
Job Requirements:-+ Mechanical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
-+ 5 yearsGÇÖ experience in the EPC or related industry is preferred.
-+ Registered with APEGA or eligibility for registration with APEGA is preferred.
As a Packaged Equipment Engineer you are:-+ Responsible for assisting and developing the design, specification, estimates, technical requisitions, and document review of mechanical equipment.
-+ Responsible for developing preliminary equipment estimates and scope to support project/process development.
-+ Responsible for preparing specifications, and construction packages.
-+ Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems of moderate engineering complexity.
-+ Ensure adherence to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures.
-+ Responsible for reviewing documents of industrial mechanical equipment.
-+ Must effectively follow equipment through fabrication, installation, and start-up and provide support to field staff as required to support specific project requirements.
