Mechanical Engineer (Oil and Gas) Job# 3327 Akron/Cleveland area, Ohio
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
In response to a dramatic and sustained growth in business, a well established manufacturer in the Akron/Cleveland area is seeking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their team to design and deploy natural gas ignition systems used in utility applications.
Knowledge of natural gas operations, maintenance, engineering, and construction will be needed to qualify for this opportunity.
Position Requirements Include:
•A BS degree in an engineering discipline
•4+ years of experience with combustion systems used in natural gas applications
•Strong working knowledge of fluid dynamics, instrumentation controls, applicable codes and regulations
•Hands-on 3D CAD skills
•Ability to meet with customers, identify solutions, and specify applicable components
•Any experience with the conversion of coal / oil fired boilers would be a significant plus
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
