Drive optimal performance and utilization of the Fulfillment Center (FC) warehouse management system (WMS), configuration and the most efficient interaction between front and back end systems connected to the FC WMS. Drive continuous improvement through evaluation and assessment of current processes and configuration. Focus on creative and innovative approaches to improve WMS and FC efficiencies in the areas of cost, accuracy, quality and service. Become the primary point of contact to Headquarters Target Technology Services (TTS), EAM, FC Operations and FC leadership team on tickets and enhancements.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Group Leader - WMS, youÆll take the lead as youà
ò Leverage subject matter expertise in your interaction between TTS, EAM, FC Operations and building leadership to ensure the right level of escalation to system defects. Educate and inform others on the nuances of the system. Help others to understand capabilities and limitations. Provide insight into how the FC WMS can support and enhance the success of new strategies.
ò Evaluate building WMS to determine optimal settings, implement WMS configuration changes, and partner with operational leaders to identify WMS gaps and areas for improvement
ò Observe fulfillment center operational processes and identify areas of improvement, collaborate with building leaders and team members to gather insight, implement processes to mazimize productivity and throughput, and evaluate process improvement proposals by completing cost benefit analysis
ò Supervise warehouse management system and personnel, ensuring maximum productivity, growth and development of reporting team members. Participate in the interviewing and selection of team members. Train team members on warehouse management system and maintenance repair methods listed, ensuring training timetable is followed and certification is awarded as applicable. Promote cross-training as appropriate.Develop team members to maximize performance. Give regular and specific feedback on individual and team performance. Respond to all team members questions and concerns. Conduct team members performance reviews and provides input for transfers and promotional opportunities.
ò Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Provide a high level of safety awareness among team members by continuous communication, education and enforcement of safe work practices. Ensure work areas are hazard free, clean and orderly at all times, establishing team pride in maintaining orderliness and organizing areas of responsibility for employees to adopt.

ò 4-year degree
ò Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences; strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills
ò Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to others
ò Experience supporting packaged warehousing or manufacturing systems
ò Ability to access all levels and areas of facility
ò Openness to relocation
