This position is with a food processing plant and will be responsible for the daily coordinating of raw materials, personnel and machinery for the assigned area. Duties include: • Supervising employees to ensure personnel and food safety and compliance with ISO, HACCP, SSOP and GMPs; • Promoting satisfactory labor relations through the exercise of human relations skill; • Providing coaching and development of direct reports in the areas of Cost, Quality, Safety, and Team Development; • Switching shifts and/or working overtime as required.
Experience:
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience; • Lean Manufacturing and some prior supervisory experience preferred; • Experience with OSHA, ISO, HACCP, GMPs, USDA/FDA, etc.; • Experience with personnel development methods, problem solving and analytical methods; • Sanitation, Engineering, QA and/or Human Resources knowledge or experience is a plus; • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; • Willing and able to switch shifts and work overtime as required. $55-65K + Bonus
Education:
4-year degree required; Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
