Title: Trims Engineer Location: Saline, MI or Ann Arbor, MI Duration: Long Term Rate: Negotiable Experience - 6-10yrs experience in Automotive Domain - Expert in Automotive Trims Required Skills • Creation of master sections / engineering definitions for the assigned part as per defined processes and organization practices • Styling Feasibility / Packaging • Create Part / System design to meet Engineering Requirements as per defined processes • Guidance to the modeling / drafting team with engineering / conceptual inputs • Tooling / Manufacturing feasibility / DFMEA / DFA / DFM • Suggestions for Improving Design Quality / Cost Reduction • CATIA V5 Skills - atleast 3-4 years experience in developing complex shapes • 3D Modeling & drafting in CATIA V5 (if needed) • Participation in team reviews / cross functional review • Supplier coordination (as required)
