Lead Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Take part in a midsize team project from conceptual stage to detail design stage, familiar with different stages of EPCM projects. Design and draft drawings using computer drafting software Design grounding layouts, electrical equipment layouts, motor control schematics, control panel layouts, cable layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, area classification drawings, general plant layouts. Prepare area classification drawings in conjunction with electrical engineer and other discipline engineers. Able to develop material list and load list. Able to read and extract electrical information from P&ID's and mechanical equipment list. Familiar with electric heat tracing design (self limiting and MI).
Requirements: P.Eng Designation. 10-15 years experience in Electrical Engineering for chemical or petrochemical industries. Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and practices Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and problem solving skills
Reporting and Location: The position reports to Manager, Instrumentation & Electrical Engineering. Opportunity exists in: Sarnia, Ontario
