TriMech is currently seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA.
Qualified applicants will have a strong mixture of R&D exposure including Functional and Mechanical design. Design environments will include a strong plastics technology to include; injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, flexible pouch, paperboard and composites.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, , MSME preferred
3-5 years experience in mechanical design– injection, extrusion and blow molding preferred
Experience with Solidworks Software
Experience with rapid prototyping and support fabrication
Proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD, Unigraphics NX, or Autocad
Experience in the use and application of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Mechanical aptitude in working with lab equipment, fixtures and measuring devices
Ability to perform work independently without direct supervision
Ability to work on an team charged with developing and finding solutions to packaging problems or needs
Good oral and written communication skills
