Why are you interested in an engineering career: |
I became interested in a career of engineering at a young age. A lot of my young endeavors involved problem solving and complex thinking. I can remember taking broken objects and mechanisms, then attempting to fix them. As my education grew I learned a career in engineering would fit me perfectly. I love the mind complexity I receive when I encounter my engineering challenges. |

What is the biggest engineering challenge currently facing your country: |
The biggest engineering challenge my country faces today is properly preparing and educating young engineers for the work place. I believe the college academic level of engineering does not fully prepare us young engineers for the work place. This makes it very hard for companies in the United States to compete in a global market. I think the ideology of engineering academics only prepares students for the abstract and not reality. |
