Energy security is the biggest problem faced not only by India, but lot of other countries. With the conventional sources of energy such as oil and coal fast depleting, the needs increasing due to the growing population, and the rising concerns about global warming, there is a need to find alternate sources of energy. There is an urgent need to reduce global warming. We have to produce more energy efficient vehicles. And also energy efficient devices. We must tap the solar energy to the maximum limit and reduce the dependence on fossil fuels and other sources which cause pollution. Its the engineers job to plan and design all this.
