Why are you interested in an engineering career:
I became interested in an engineering career in high school. I realized that I had a knack for solving problems by designing new methods or mechanism. Ever since, I've delighted in solving all sorts of problems through the use of the skills I've learned over the years as a student.
What is the biggest engineering challenge currently facing your country:
Right now, I feel that the biggest engineering challenge facing the United States is the drive for alternative energy. Finding a way to cheaply produce and implement an alternative means of producing energy is quite the challenge, and can be seen in many major periodicals daily.
