I am doing SEO last many years, never call myself a SEO expert,as I myself feel that it is not right way of promoting my services.I always emphasis that SEO is just a part of promotional activities. More attention should be focused on promotion of the site i.e. getting as many relevant links as possible.

I must state, focus on quality of content only in hopes it will cause natural growth of links back to your site, is a static plan that will NOT keep up with your competition. Resulting in you getting buried in search results, so less will find you, and over time you will get less and less quality back links.
