Alert
Every time I try, I get the error "License not granted for selected object"
In order for interoperability functions to work for CAD data, you must install the MULTICax plug-ins. To do that perform the following:
1) Install the correct CATIA/ENOVIA MULTICAx Products CD (came in a separate packet of CDs)
2) Go to Programs > CATIA > Tools > Settings Management V5R15
· under the "Licensing" Tab make sure "ED2" and "DXL-MULTICAx-ALL-IN-ONE-PLUG-IN Product" is checked off.
3) Restart or Launch CATIA
4) To import product:
· Right Mouse Button click on Product1
· Click on "Components"
· Click on "Existing Component"
Browse to the desired CAD file, and then click the "Open" box
