I'd like to create the text within Part design workbench to projected on the 3D model.
Can anyone help me?

| Open a drawing file, write out whatever you want on a surface, highlight the words and copy them. Once copied in a dxf file you can paste it right into a sketch. CATIA V5 will create the profiles from what you have copied. From here you can pad, pocket, or lay tool paths on the text. Have fun! |

You have to save the file as a DXF, close out the CATdrawing and open the DFX inside of catia. Then you can highlight the text inside the DXF file and paste them into sketches. Let me know if that gets the job done.

1. Open Drawing File
2. Use text editor to type what you want, make it the desired size and font
3. Save file as, DXF, not CATdrawing
4. Open DXF inside of CATIA, you can now see your text is an outlined sketch.
5. Drag select the text
6. Right Click text and copy
7. Open up sketch workbench, and paste

PS, to paste right click on the sketch in the tree and hit paste, that might be what was messing some people up. Also CATIA pastes the text wherever in the window it wants, so you may have to hunt for it. Hint, sometimes it's really small and hidden, and other times it's huge, depending on the text size you choose in the drawing file.

there is a condition in this creation,
in the" tools--->option--->general--->compatibility--->dxf---->Export mode "option must select "Graphic"
