I think you'll be impressed. I don't know how many of you are still stuck in the 2D world but you owe it to yourselves to investigate Alibre Design and how easy and inexpensive it is to enter the world of 3D design.
That said, how is everyone weathering the financial storm sweeping across the worldscape? I heard a commentator refer to the folks on Wall Street who are responsible for this debacle as financial engineers. I take great umbrage with that. These people aren't engineers in any sense of the word and it denegrates anyone who has earned the title of engineer or design engineer. These folks are the old 19th century robber barons re-packaged for the 21st century. What Wall Street needs is a good re-engineering with a little science and technology applied in a few strategic areas to keep a govenor on this greed powered engine. See the New York Times electronic version op-ed column titled This Economy Does Not Compute.
And keep in mind that it's all temporary-bu next week it will have morphed into something else!
