Rapid Prototyping, 3D Printing, Additive Fabrication ...... The industry I work in is in a very exciting period. The technologies are expanding from once being used for Rapid Prototyping to now being capable of producing parts for end-use applications. And how do you define an industry by the terminology? This has been a really interesting past few years as the terms used to describe the technologies and the uses for that technology have gone through a roller coaster of changes.

Check out the most recent guitar I made based on a Tele body. This guitar was built in layers with an Additive Manufacturing technology.
Find out how I was able to bring the weight of the body down utilizing a "sparse" fill approach. You'll also notice the "RedEye" text built into the body. This text is actually a swept cut through the entire body.
