Building a 36'x50' with a classic 4/12 pitch roof garage on 4 layer block foundation in Illinois. Framing 16' walls on foundation so kids can play basketball and such inside. Initially going to build post frame style (like a machine shed), however we would rather frame classic "stick built" style. Any suggestions? We are considering 2x8 or 2x6 wood frame construction, 16" on center studs. Thanks, Joe |
