    Hi,
I want to join two L-angles one across each other with rivets. My problem is while placing one across each other L-angles gets overlapped so here at this zone thickness doubled.i dont want thickness to be doubled so give some suggestions for joining L-angles to the plate with rivets.(Welding is not preffered, only riveting).
Please find the attached file for clear picture.

I don't see the file/picture attached to your post. I am attaching a picture just as a test to see it works to attach pictures/files to post. Although picture may inspire ideas, it is not meant as an answer, as I would need to see your pic/file first to possibly have a solution.
I think you may have forgot to click little "Insert Image" icon after choosing file, then uploading. the final step would have been insert image into post, display link, etc.

Let me assume for a moment that you will be attaching the L's to the plate and not to one another.

Using the sketch provide the apparently vertically running brackets are solid, while the horizontallyrunning brackets are or can be discontinuous.

If this is the case then you will need to cut one of the ends of the brackets with a knotch which will interface with the inside of the L.
