    Hey all, can anyone advice a good source re different types of Biomass Energy and in particular calculations relating to its domestic usage (heating)?

    Assuming that by "biomass energy" you mean burning organic compounds for heat, and assuming that by "domestic usage" you mean personal furnaces and a person's place of residence...
    There are no good sources discussing that topic that also discuss the number of households which do so.

    Most wood variety have specific data for how much energy you get from biomass fuels search the web using your favorite search engine. Use the phrase "heat value of biomass fuels" (no quotes). You should get a lot of links.

    Biomass as a fuel source is a hot (pun intended). I am sure you will find some links which you assist you in your research concerning domestic applications.
