    Hi,

Would there be a way to use battery to run a toaster?

A toaster is probably a pure restive load, so it would run on dc voltage and not need ac. So it might work if you could find a 120v battery. My toaster is 950 watts, so it draws 7.9 amps. So 10 automotive type batteries might work, but most other batteries would not be able to supply that much current. How would you charge the battery?
