    Hello there,

I'm an architecture student designing a medium scale building which encompasses the idea of a tidal lagoon on the river thames in London to produce energy.

I've worked out my building would on average use 85kWh of energy per day...

I'm designing turbines in the lagoon wall (like a tidal barrage) and wonder how to calculate the dimensions of the turbine and how many I would need to produce this amount of energy?

i think this link has something to do with it? http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/h..._1359.html

also what's the best way of storing this energy on site?

apologies in advance for my incompetence! i'm only a mere architecture student ;)

    thanks! :)
