I am trying to measure the transmitted signal power from a sensor that operates at 345MHz. I have a spectrum analyzer, but still need to purchase an antenna. Would a basic UHF antenna work for this application or should I use a near field probe? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This is a demonstration of measuring the transmitted power from an antenna using the old classic Bird Wattmeter.
