Hi, all; I'm trying to control TIG welder current up to 70a @ 30v by means of a liquid rheostat. Found plenty of theory on the web but nothing specific. Specifically, I'd like formulas for copper electrode size and spacing. I've found some info on electrolyte concentration, the other primary variable. Thank you for any ideas.
