I am designing a business proposal for MBA school around manufacturing a new wakeboard binding to ensure greater rider safety. I have a CAD design but I am trying to figure out a material to make them out of. I feel as if it should be something similar to a snowboard binding.

Does anyone have any ideas on what type of plastic a snowboard binding is made of. Also, how do you think they are manufactured. Injection molding, milling?

    Thanks

Bindings for wake boards would be made out of a glass filled acrylic-polycarbonate blend or nylon 12.

In production the main components would be injection molded.
