I am a 21 year old with a keen interest in engineering but I have no experience in the area other than the buildings I design on the google sketchup software. I was going to apply for an online course with the open university but unfortunetly I didnt apply within the alloted time for registration. I often fantasise about changing the face of the earth quite literally, with emaculate buildings. Im also very interested in aerospace engineering and the advances of technology.

I am in a position where im ready to follow that dream and make something of myself, but to be frank, I dont know where to begin. I hope that posting this on a website of people who are changing the earth and the future would be able to give me some advice and guide me on where to start.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just because you did not make it this semester, does not mean that you are locked out forever. Apply again as soon as the registration process opens. There are other programs besides the one you applied for including major universities here in the USA - MIT, USC, PU, etc.

Search the phrase - "Online Engineering Programs" (no quotes). There are a lot of programs out there. I am sure that you will find one that fits your needs.
