Hi, I am a transfer student who was accepted to University of Southern California (USC) as well as University of California San Diego (UCSD) for mechanical engineering, and I am trying to figure out which school would be the best choice for me. I guess I would like to know whether going to one school will help me in the long run for employment, or how a degree from USC would look verses a degree from UCSD. OR, if anybody has gone to the schools and would like to share how they liked the experience that would be great as well! About me: -I am slightly older than most of my peers (27), and I'm not necessarily looking for the typical "college experience". I want the best education that will set me up for my future. -I am hoping to work in aerospace (JPL, SpaceX, Northrop etc.) so location might also be important. Thank you very much for any replies, and if you would like to know anything else that might be useful then please ask! Thanks again Ben |
