what is the best practice in Anti Suge Valve location in Centrifugal Compressor package?
I had seen some applications where the Anti Surge valve is upstream the Dischage cooler, while my Company common practice is downstream the Dischage Cooler.
Is there any advantage for any of them.

downstream have benefit of asthetics of machine. Water molecule condensated due to flow of air from antisurge valve was deposited over a whole machine in upstream, in downstream it deposited on ground

You're dealing with an isenthalpic process here, but the cooling effect depends on the gas you're handling. Have you tried evaluating a recycle line using a single surge valve? This might work, but the condition is that this is used in a multi-stage compressor.

My interests include duplex valves from The Alloy Valve Stockist, Barcelona, Spain at http://alloy-valves.com
