    Could anybody can tell me please? that
    1. Basic pressure velocity of french standard NV65 is determine by
    q = V^2/1.63
    where q = velocity pressure (N/m^2)
    V = Basic wind speed (m/s) @ 10m above ground

    2 How this code NV65 measure the wind speed? eg. 3s-gust, fastest mile, or 10min-avg, 10min hour

    Thank you

    Hi
    This is a good question. Sorry at this stage I do not have an answer. |Did you work this out by some other route and can you share the answer now?
    What I had thought was that the "normal" figure was the mean hourly at 10m and the "extreme" figure was the 3 sec gust at 10m. But something is not adding up for me. When I compare the figures with the UK code BS6399 I see that Frances lowest zone cat 1 has a normal wind speed of 103kmh which = 28.6m/s which is only matched in the UK in the most extremely exposed North Western Isles of Scotland - this simply can not be true!
    If I find an answer I'll post again.
