    Hi
I would be grateful if anyone can advise the microstructure of the steel plate made by thermomechanical control process (or TMCP) ?

Typically, these kinds of steel plate making will go through online accelerated coolinig and reheating to achieve both strength and toughness.

    Thanks alot.

    Bagel:

Again, have you done a basic search on the topic of heat treating steel. There is lots of information out there, both on the internet and in classical reference books found in the library.

Bagel: if you're dealing with steel plates with a low molybdenum content, then the following article (www.gorni.eng.br/e/Gorni_JAI_Set2008.pdf) might be of help. You can also check out the mechanical engineering forum over at eng-tips.com; there are some seriously knowledgeable mechnical engineers offering input on these
